College of Charleston Student Government Association (SGA) president Ross Kressel faced an impeachment vote yesterday after allegedly posting tweets that disparaged minorities, women, gays, and his SGA colleagues. The vote did not pass, but the SGA voted “no confidence” in the president, according to the Charleston City Paper.
After the vote, Kressel posted this tweet on his personal Twitter page:
